About the Program Under Construction

The Charlton County Fire Rescue Junior Firefighter Program was approved by the Fire Board in late May and by the County Commissioners in Mid-June.

The program was founded to help educate the young men and women of Charlton County ages 13-18 about what it's like to be a firefighter and what it takes to be on.

Our goal is to help the young men and women who join our program be able to test out to become a certified firefighter.
